Bubbles

So, when Mason came home tonight, Camryn wanted to go blow bubbles outside on the deck, which we do often. She was actually saying, "bubbles." Mason told her they could go after dinner because we were getting ready to sit down. So, she goes over to her chair and gets out her coat and gets Mason to assist her in putting it on. Thinking this will get her Daddy to take her out...if she has her coat on. hahaha! So, here she is...note I had just changed her diaper and figured she could go "bottomless" until bathtime. What a fashion statement.

They head outside after dinner and Mason is a stickler about her having her shoes on the deck. Safety Dad! Another fine fashion statement! She loves the bubbles!

After dinner, the wind was picking up and was really carrying the bubbles away, so Mason was telling Cam to say "bye bye" to the bubbles and she actually began saying, "bye bye" and waving. She continued to say "bye bye" later when we called Pap to wish him a happy birthday. She kept saying "bye bye" and trying to hang up the phone. She is really trying to speak and is even putting some of her words together in short phrases..."no more," "no more, Mama."

Easter III

Camryn loooves to carry things around on her arm...good prep for carrying a purse.

What a pair!

Our attempt at a family picture...with an uncooperative youngin'.

Easter II

Posing with her basket...isn't every child asked to do this each year? I remember posing!

Pretty girl in her pretty dress!

Getting some love from Gracie...who was hiding one of the Easter eggs!

Seriously, princess-in-waiting? How many 18 month olds have their very own assistant to carry around the basket? Pop was glad to offer Camryn his assistance.

Easter

I thought Camryn would enjoy coloring eggs, but she really wasn't quite old enough. She tried to be gentle, but it's not really her nature just yet. :0)

Camryn loved looking for all her eggs!

She enjoyed the books the Easter Bunny brought her.

Huntin' for Eggs at G & P's

Camryn became more of a master egg hunter at Grammy and Pop's. She would squat down and look under things. It was simply hilarious. I had changed her diaper, Pop picked her up out of the crib and set her down...and off she went! She saw the eggs and was on the hunt. Inside, Grammy hid yogurt melts, Cam's fave treat. You'll see at first she kept wanting to stop at have Pop give her the goodies inside.

She was SO much fun today!

Huntin' for Eggs

While these are similiar clips, Camryn was just so darn cute looking for and then finding the eggs.

More from the Easter Egg Hunt

Sitting with friend, Annabelle after the Easter egg hunt.

Here Camryn was asking me (via sign language...touching her nose) where the Easter bunny was. She didn't cry when she saw him, but she was very alert and kept checking to see where he was. Ha ha! Oh, goodness! This doggie walked by and she about fell out. So we had to follow it and give her some love.
Watching the pony and horse rides on Daddy's shoulders.

Eating popcorn, not sure what this stance and expression is all about!

Easter Egg Hunt

Camryn's first Bounce House and at first she just sat and let the other kids bounce her around. She loved it! After a while she stood up and walked a little, but she kept falling.

Her first attempt to find some eggs. Unfortunately, there were some big kids (who weren't supposed to be there...it was 3 and under) so she had a hard time getting to the eggs fast enough.

So, we took the ones she collected and dumped them out again so she could pick them up again!

Carrying off her load of eggs!

First Braves Game in 2011

Visiting Pop before this year's home opener on April 9th.

Our old usher, William, and his 13 month old, Maddux came for Opening Day! Maddux weighs in at 30 pounds! Camryn at 18 months comes in at only 22.5 pounds!!

Petting Zoo at Spring Fling

Camryn boldly pets a potbellied pig.

Checking out the bunnies.

Wavin' to the chickens.
Camryn heard the rooster crow its "Cock-a-doodle-do," from across the animal pen and she whips around telling the rooster, "No!" and shaking her finger for good measure.

Getting closer to touching the bunnies.

Spring Fling at Primrose

Of course, Camryn went right to the ball!

Heading to the court to shoot...

A slam dunk!

It seemed everywhere we went at the Spring Fling Camryn found the balls. She can hardly see over this one!

She loves the swings! The higher the better!

Sooo Funny

The guys are operating a remote control monster truck and Camryn is very skeptical. She'd walk down the sidewalk a ways then coming running back if the truck came her way. Something got her funny bone in this clip.

I Want "More" Horses

Camryn has begun to using signals, verbal and sign language to communicate. Here she is trying to tell Pap she wants "more" time with the horses. Truly amazing!

Golf

Did Tiger start this young?

Could these two be any sweeter? Camryn just leaned in to hug Bree. She is quite the affectionate little girl! Of course, I LOVE it!

Hugs go both ways!

Hello, Horsie!

Once again, sharing her love with Jasper.

Until next time, Pap and DeDe! xo

More from Texas

Uncle Chris and his girlfriend, Meredith.

DeDe and Camryn watch the kitty cat.

DeDe and Daddy took Camryn out to see the horses. It was a mighty windy day! Look how at ease she is!

Hanging with the Family

All the cousins together...Camryn, Bree, Brock, Mason, and Owen. We were celebrating Bree and Brock's upcoming birthdays!
Couldn't resist. She kept climbing in only to get out again!

LOOOVE that smile!

Camryn is watching her bigger cousins play ball...she sooo wants to be a part of their play!
Couldn't resist taking the picture from both sides!
